Rules
- A numbered cell is white; its digit counts white cells visible up, down, left and right, including itself.
- Black cells are not counted and block the view.
- Black cells may not touch edge to edge.
- All white cells must be connected.
How to start
Sweep the neighbours of every clue
The bigger the digit, the fewer cells can be black, and borders make it obvious.
Fall back on white connectivity
If blackening a cell would split the whites, it must be white.
No-adjacent-blacks cascades
Settle one black and all four neighbours turn white at once.
Where players get stuck
- Counting without including the clue cell itself.
- Missing white connectivity and stranding an island.
