Rules
- Each column holds distinct digits drawn from 0–9.
- Two horizontally adjacent cells may not be consecutive.
- Two diagonally adjacent cells may not be consecutive either.
- The number at the right end of each row is that row's sum.
How to start
Start with the extreme rows
The lowest and highest sums have the fewest combinations.
"Not consecutive" does the pruning
Settle one cell and every consecutive value around it dies.
Watch column uniqueness throughout
It is the rule most easily broken.
Where players get stuck
- Checking only horizontal neighbours and forgetting diagonals count too.
- Treating 0 as if it were 10.
