Rules
- Each bold region is filled with 1 through n, where n is its cell count.
- No two adjacent cells may hold the same digit, diagonals included.
- Given digits cannot change.
How to start
A one-cell region is always 1
Spot one and fill it immediately.
Diagonals count — that is the whole game
This one word makes Suguru far denser than its cousins.
Radiate outward from given digits
A placed digit heavily constrains all eight neighbours.
Where players get stuck
- Checking only up, down, left and right and missing the diagonals.
- Treating region size as fixed when it varies from region to region.
